I first came to Bristol driving school in 2005 to become a driving instructor. I'm not overly educated .. basic GCSEs no A levels no university.At times I wondered if I could do this course. However Gary took care of me so much and was so supportive that I eventually achieved a old grade 6 and now a grade A 49/51. I know for a FACT that without his support through the years I wouldn't of achieved this with any other company. Cannot praise him ENOUGH. I passed my test a couple of years ago but I haven't been behind the wheel in about a year and a half so I decided to book a refresher lesson with Bristol Driving school. Everywhere seemed to be fully booked around bristol but Gary & John from Bristol driving school managed to organise & find a space for me very quickly. John was brilliant at making me feel at ease & I was surprised how quickly I picked it all up again as I was certain I had forgotten everything. John was very supportive, mainly reminding me how much I loved driving. If I was learning I would go with him, but it's not just for learners they are obviously very good at helping people who have already passed & want to build confidence! Great team. Gary was very helpful from the beginning booking me in with an instructor that was right for me. My instructor Dave was amazing, very patient but also pushed me to keep doing better/ being safer/ thinking quicker on the road so I really can't fault him and his vast knowledge! Passed my driving test today in Avonmout! Can't fault my instructor Dave, he's so patient with you and firm but fair, he really wants you to succeed and that helped push me to getting my test out of the way after a couple of unsuccessful tries due to nerves getting the better of me. Dave stuck with me and I wouldn't have passed without him! Gary has been with me all the way as well, always checking up on progress and keen to book in lessons that suited my work timetable.
