I want to say how very helpful I found the staff to be at this AA Branch. The young lady who helped me with my RealMe renewal (sorry I didn’t note her name but her desk is next to the entrance door) and Helen on the driving licence desk were both fantastic. These two staff members are a credit to their employer. Read Less

This place is a let down. NZTA processes lengthen wait times in the queues. Crazy process. Fill in a form, stand in line sometimes for 40 minutes, then the poor staff enter the data into a computer, tick the form so it is correct. None of my details have changed. Why doesnt the computer system accept that - would make life simpler. Then to hand write a license when a computer program could generate one more quickly - more time wasting. Then staff allow queue jumpers - outrageous. AA you need to dump the NZTA workload, this detracts from the good work you do. Read Less

The people who work at this branch are wonderful, they work damn hard every single day. If you join a queue twenty people deep you have to understand it's going to be a wait. Each application can take roughly 10-15 minutes and that's not guidelines set by the AA they are set by NZTA. Trust me be nice to the staff and they will bend over backwards and if you want to convert your licence from overseas please please please be prepared to wait especially on a Saturday it's an amazingly complicated application and I recommend going in for a fact finding mission first since so much can get lost in translation over the phone. Be patient ans be kind these people aren't robots Read Less

This branch needs alot of work to get up to speed on customer service. Low number of staff saw lines getting longer and longer and people more and more frustrated. I walked out our after an hour in line. I have a fractured back and struggled with the wait when it seemed so unnecessary. Staff were in no rush to process applications. Something systemically wrong here. AA get your act together. There's got to be a better way. Good way to loose custom. Not recommended. Read Less

Amazing service! Walked into the centre for some car insurance, was greeted friendly. Was asked to wait as they were pretty busy. Within a few minutes, I was served by Tania. Very friendly and helpful. I asked a lot of questions and she was very patient. Had to return the next day for a document as I forgot to ask for it and got greeted by Olivia and sat with her. She was also really friendly and helpful. Could not fault the service received by both insurance consultants. Would recommend these two lovely girls to anyone. Read Less

WORST SERVICE! Many free staff doing nothing at their desk, eating lollies and texting, and only couple of staff on the other side of the room slowly serving customers. Most ridiculous thing is that there is a sign saying that theyll call the police if any of the customers show fustration or threat. Had to stand here waiting for over 2 hrs and 30mins Read Less

Terrible service ever in this branch! I walked in to the branch with intention to buy car insurance, we met the first insurance consultant( a male). He asked us whether we are AA member, after we say we already have the AA member, then he just ask us to wait at the waiting area and do not follow up with us anymore! 2nd consultant: OLIVIA Brown! She helped us done the AA Insurance in 5 minutes, and telling us we will be receiving the email in 10 minutes! We were there waiting for the email confirmation before we leave the branch. When we approach her for 2nd time to ask about the email confirmation, again, she asked us to wait! Terrible! Finally, the colleague beside her have help us solve the problem, send us the email immediately. When we receive email, the premium quoted by Olivia brown was different from what I receive from the email. In the end, we are paying more premium than what she quoted us! Terrible!! THE services in this branch Sucks! Read Less

Very disappointed...staff is very racist...and give false information...one staff member says it's okay another one says not okay.. Can you guys decide 1st in your team which documents are acceptable. It's been few weeks now, every week I go on my day off.. your team members come up with new stories and misguiding information. Cops are fine the driving licence, Car dealers are fine with the driving license but This old lady has a different rule book. I think Old lady needs retirement.. Read Less

Worst phone service I have experienced. I've recently moved from Australia to New Zealand and had a few questions about the conversion of licences. A staff member named "Anna" answered the phone. I asked a few questions about what i needed to bring and a rough estimation of pricing. I had recently been on like to try answer these questions but was still unsure. Anna spoke to me as if she couldn't be bothered with my questions, told me I couldn't convert my licence because i hadn't held my licence for "three years" but if she knew what she was talking about, no licence can be held longer than three years unless extending. I am disappointed in this staff member's appalling service and just as i thought the service couldn't be worse, it did. She told me AA Centre couldn't help me, i had to go through NZ Transport and hurried me off the phone saying she didn't have time for my service basically. I understood if i rung the wrong line and she had other customers in line, all she had to do was simply explain that to me first, advised me with the right line or number and I would of been happy and on my way. DISAPPOINTED. On a bright note, I called the AA customer contact centre an surprisingly had the same name as the rude salesperson 'Anna' but this time this Anna helped me with all my questions and gave lovely service. I want to say how very helpful I found the staff to be at this AA Branch. The young lady who helped me with my RealMe renewal (sorry I didn’t note her name but her desk is next to the entrance door) and Helen on the driving licence desk were both fantastic. This place is a let down. NZTA processes lengthen wait times in the queues. Crazy process. Fill in a form, stand in line sometimes for 40 minutes, then the poor staff enter the data into a computer, tick the form so it is correct. None of my details have changed. The people who work at this branch are wonderful, they work damn hard every single day. If you join a queue twenty people deep you have to understand it's going to be a wait. Each application can take roughly 10-15 minutes and that's not guidelines set by the AA they are set by NZTA. This branch needs alot of work to get up to speed on customer service. Low number of staff saw lines getting longer and longer and people more and more frustrated. I walked out our after an hour in line. I have a fractured back and struggled with the wait when it seemed so unnecessary. Staff were in no rush to process applications. Amazing service! Walked into the centre for some car insurance, was greeted friendly. Was asked to wait as they were pretty busy. Within a few minutes, I was served by Tania.
