My driving instructor was John McCabe and he was excellent - I couldn't recommend him highly enough. So patient and made me feel really relaxed, very good at explaining everything. He has a very calm demeanour which is exactly what you need. Whenever I made a mistake he took it in his stride and calmed my nerves. I found the reverse around the corner manoeuvre particularly hard but he always remained focused and patient, practicing it over and over again. Past the test after only a few lessons with RSA School of Motoring! Would not have done it without help from my great instructor Mariusz! Due to unexpected circumstances I had to book a car and lessons for the test only a few weeks before the test date. After searching online a very helpful instructor Brian from ADI School of Motoring past my contact details to RSA in hope of availability. James from RSA promptly rang me back and was extra attentive to my needs and within a d...ay found the time and instructor to accommodate my needs. My instructor was Mariusz Jablonski. After having a few instructors in the past Mariusz was second to none! His method of teaching was excellent and I have learned much more within a few lessons with him than many lessons with other instructors in the past. He was super professional and most importantly so positive and encouraging which gave me the confidence I lacked to successfully past the test. Also the car was brand new and in an excellent condition which made driving more pleasant. Absolute disgrace, my daughter paid upfront for the compulsory 12 lessons, she had 1 lesson, couldn't book another one till nearly a month later because instructor was on holidays, then the night before she was due 2nd lesson, the instructor had to cancel cos he got rear ended, he wouldn't be able to do another lesson with her till his car came back from garage, I phoned the company to see if there was another car or instructor she could use, they rang me back that evening t...o offer her 2 lessons for that Wed and Sun, yeah they rang her to cancel again!!!!, My daughter rang them yesterday Tuesday to get a refund which she is well within her rights to do, they have said the refund should be in her account in 3-5 work days, but oh yeah they deducted for the first lesson, which I personally think is an absolute disgrace considering the runaround they've given her. A totally unprofessional set up. Insane wait times to get a lesson. And then the attitude and professionalism of the office staff leaves a lot to be desired. I changed instructor and was due to start with a new instructor today (who was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable) . When I rang to book the lesson (3 weeks ago) I explained I was waiting on my renewed licence to be sent out to me but had the confirmation to say it was en route I was told that would not be an issue.... I sat in the instructors car today and he refused to take me out for a lesson without an up to date licence (not his fault). I rang the office to speak to them and I was spoken to like I was dirt off the end of the "managers" shoe. He spoke over me cut me off and his tone was appalling. As a manager of a call centre I would be furious if anyone in the call centre spoke to someone with so little respect. To add insult to injury I then find out they are charging me for the lesson even though they advised me it was ok to have the lesson while waiting on my licence and the EDT online hadn't been updated by my old instructor. Excellent - Spot On: Michael Bennett is an amazing instructor. Only had 3 lessons with Mick but the feedback is worth 30 lessons. I had learner permit for years but never had the courage to do the actual test. After my first lesson Mick told me straight away that I am ready for my test. The next couple of lessons as well as the pre-test was very informative. I have had lessons before from other instructors but none of them are as good as Mick. The car is in pretty good shape as well as I do not have my own car, I used Mick's car. He is always on time and very pleasant to deal with. Read Less

I have been passed on to a different driving school which wasn't even RSA, the car I was driving was very old and crap and my instructor was very unenthusiastic and unfriendly for the first few lessons. Had to book 2-3 weeks in advance for the lessons and one time my instructor haven't ARRIVED with 3 weeks pre booking and after calling up they said they forgot to write it in their calendar and then had to wait another 1-2 WEEKS. Complete joke. I had to move to a different driving school after pre-paying for 6 lessons... as these guys waste your time and money. I passed my test yesterday and I'm still over the moon. Kevin was fantastic. Really patient and relaxed and really gave me the tools to make sure I passed. I was so nervous and lacking in confidence in the days leading up but I just put into practice everything he taught me and it all came good on the day. I did a quick test run the hour before my test in churchtown and during that hour alone Kevin built my confidence further and helped me relax. I would highly recommend Kevin. Really sound guy. I started my driving leassons couple of months back. With very low experience of previously driving, the training helped me get through. I found about the trainer on similar google reviews, so they really helped. My trainer worked with me on a project to help me pass. All the training and guidance was second to none. With a bit if regular homework after and before every class, I was able to pass the exam. Tallaght route is worth chosing . I was told that this route was the best and with some research I found that it had highest pass rate. I did 12 hours of prep classes in this route. I did a warm up run on the day of the test and that really helped build up my confidence. I was all prepared for the theory section as well - Thanks to the instructor.Read Less

He was able to identify what I was doing wrong in minutes and correct them instantly. He had me prepared for the test and feeling confident about it in a matter of days.
