Bancroft School of Motoring was established in 1994 with a view to filling a void in the market for weekend tuition and door to door collections. One to one tuition was one of the main building blocks of the business. With new test routes and changes in the driving test, the business grew to four dual controlled cars which are worked seven days a week by full time staff. We offer a choice of male or female instructors.

Took five pretests with Suzanne,had picked up lots of bad habits over the years and she helped me back on track, I am so so thankful as I passed my test first time doing it, I would recommend Suzanne ...

Can't say enough about these guys! Had a couple of years as a learner, picked up some bad habits and didn't know what was expected of me for the test, but straight away it was all laid out for me in t...
Can't say enough about these guys! Had a couple of years as a learner, picked up some bad habits and didn't know what was expected of me for the test, but straight away it was all laid out for me in the easiest terms. Over the 12 lessons the instructor gently cut out my faults, and improved on my weakness's gradually building my confidence towards test day. The instructor was very calm, reassuring, helpful and easy going. We drove the probable test routes each time with pointers and helpful tips for the test and when it came to the pre-test's they seemed to have it down to a fine art, down to the smallest details, totally nailed it! I passed on my first go, and trust me, it was mainly down to the instructors great help. Bancroft was recommended to me by my sister and I quickly saw why. I would have no problem recommending them to anyone! Delighted with the whole experience AND of course the result!
