Omega Driving School in Westmount is one of many Omega Driving School's independent franchise in Montreal, it means each franchise belongs to a particular owner. It seems that the last owner of this was the asian woman that speaks poorly english and french. Because of that, many mixup of the scheduling and services was caused by lot of miscommunication between her and customers. Because of all that issue, she decided to retire from business and close the school voluntarily. The reason why all of those clients are complaining. But starting from November 2016, it's a new owner who buy this franchise and he seems to be more professional and awesome person. Omega Driving School exist and is serving all Montreal's community and population for more than 35 years. They have teacher who are very experienced and patient, and can understand each customer worry to be able to get their self confidence behind the Wheel. I finished the three first phases of the course with Omega, and switched to another school in the fourth phase. I can safely tell you I wished I had switched before. The theory classes are not planned at all, the two teachers from those demonstrated to be completely clueless, not engaging, lacking creativity to make the lecture any interesting and if they have any knowledge at all on the topics they are approaching, they are absolutely incompetent to transmit it. As for the practices, even the teachers who is claimed to be at that school are absolutely rude, impatient, not knowledgeable and make fun or treat you with sarcasm any time that you make a mistake. I believe they go from the assumption that you should know all about driving before entering the school, which on its own is the biggest incoherence of running one. Useless to say the least. When I left the school, the coordinators did not even have the decency to ask why when even the front desk secretary was absolutely shocked with my decision and stated that this was not common to happen. If I can give it minus 5 stars I will. I advise anyone who intends to register at this school does some research first. I wasted more than 2 year with this school. At the end, they can just fail your evaluation and ask you to take the evaluation over and over again. You have to pay more and more, waste both your time and money. In the end you just won't get the necessary paper to go for the test, they just want you to pay more. They extort money out of poor students and immigrants. Don't be deceived by their "promotion", you'll end up paying at least double that price. I'm not the kind of guy that enjoy losing my time by giving reviews ( actually I think it's the first time that I do so ) But I had to this time. This is probably the worst driving school in Montreal. Poorly organized, Very hard to get an appontment they have lots of student but only 1 line without any voicemail. So I have to keep calling everyday. It's been 1 week that i'm trying to get my next appointment. Plus the lady is very rude when asking question about next steps of the course. You pay 900$ for nothing basically. You have to fight all year to get to the next step. With my busy schedule it's not fun at all. My word of advice go with another school. Read Less
