I don't have anything bad to say or any recommendations to make things better. My experience has been amazing. I recommend Tecnic to everyone. 5 stars

Good place to learn to drive but some instructors can be quite "unique" individuals.

This review pertains to their Class 3 manual with air brakes training (camion porteur manuel - straight body) They are not the cheapest, and they will most likely spring some scheduling changes on you every few sessions (especially if you intend to attend observations - call to confirm each observation session day of), BUT their instructors are competent, patient, friendly, and teach you what you NEED to know in order to pass the SAAQ evaluation, including VAD (I've trained with four of their instructors, so I have a good idea of who is providing said training). Other schools will overload you with information that is frankly superfluous, and I say this after having attended two other camion-lourd institutions aside from Tecnic Laval. Also, unlike other schools, they will not try to sell you accompanying theory and competency programs that do not aid in obtaining your new class of permit, which is a plus. If I ever wanted to obtain a superior class of permit, I would again consider Tecnic Laval.Read Less
