This is by far the most affordable, and best driving school for its value. The amount you learn about rules of the road, vehicle safety, and driving maneuvers is spectacular. Today I passed my highway (G) exam on the first try and with praise from the examiner!! This is after years of being terrified to even try the test. What made the difference is - Dean - the instructor. He really has a gift for making people feel comfortable - I would get the worst panic attacks driving! He taught me exactly what to expect on the test, made the lessons fun, was kind, caring and professional. The driving instructor Naveed is always on his phone while doing in car lesson. On the other hand he never available before 9pm or always busy. He takes me 4 weeks apart for driving lesson. During a period of 3 months 2 weeks I had 5 lessons. Naveed can't mAke time to take me to do my remaining lesson s.This driving school is the worst. Read Less

I was very disappointed in this driving school. The car was disgusting! Even my G2 examiner mentioned it. My instructor would answer phone calls during my lesson and speak in a foreign language which I found very distracting. I still do not know his name. He never ever checked my license. I could have given a fake name and address and could have easily not paid that way. All he had was my email. He showed up 15 mins early one day and 20 mins late the next day. Very frustrating. Not to metion he himself had a very strong odour. It all left a bad taste in my mouth. I did pass but I have been driving for years. I just wanted to know the route. I took my driving school at Prostar, and there isn't much to say other than the fact that they are a driving school. They deliver the necessary content at a fair price, and I did pass my G2 test. I went to go ahead and book a review test before I went for my G test and through numerous texts and left messages I could not get a response or confirmation. It wasn't like they weren't receiving my messages either, as I would get responses to set up dates where I could be met after another student had finished his or her class. We set up several days where their driver was supposed to meet me for my 1 hr class, and I was left waiting to no avail; having cancelled plans to meet with him I was not impressed. In an industry like this, where driving schools are a dime a dozen - at least in Toronto, it is things like service & integrity that make a school stand out; of which, Prostar has none in my eyes.
