Passed my G2 road test here first time. Staff inside was quite accommodating and friendly. Neat and spacious facility inside. Overall, a decent experience coming here.

Don't go here, trust me you're better off taking your test elsewhere. This location's workers are adamant you fail, despite you doing everything correct. Tester said I didn't check my blind spots before preforming three-point turn. I did and the other car waited as well when I preformed it.
Ps: The lady I had came with her boss. She was being grader as a tester. Caught me off guard because they asked me to move my jacket in the back seat. Didn't think I would be driving two people. Regardless, the vibe I got from the woman. Made it known from the beginning of our interaction she did not want me to pass.
Overall staff at the kiosk are extremely rude. They have small talk conversations with their co-workers while serving you. Then proceed with giving you attitude when you ask a simple question. Good service would probably better served at McDonalds than here. Sorry to be a disservice to your tellers when they are taking MY money then continue to be upset when I ask for certain day to rebook my driving test.
All good, I'm glad I made your quota of people you failed today.
Would LOVE to have a Drive Test representative reply to this comment to how you can better service your patrons.

Went on Saturday November 4, 2017, arrived at 8:45 a.m. & already a line up outside the building. Two dozen others were standing waiting against a back wall and another thirty were occupying all thirty chairs. Sixty people in total were all there in front of me.
Initially there were only two employee's behind the counter which was causing a back log then two others joined them. The staff were all friendly.
Make sure you know what documents you must bring because I saw many people who could not be served today because they lacked proof of identification.
Washrooms available as well as a pop and snack vending machines.
Other ppl have said parking is tight & limited but that not the case. There is ample parking, hundreds of spots free at this mall.
Other ppl have said to take two tickets from the kiosk at the entrance; and to look for tickets with the letter "A". I recommend you not do this as it serves no purpose.
The employees behind the counter call out random ticket numbers in different categories and when your ticket is called just proceed to the designated counter.
Provide your ID, get your vision test done and if you pass, pay the required fee then you can proceed to another counter where you will take your test. Complete it successfully and you will get your driver's license issued the very same day.
I found no issues at this office. It was nice and clean, well lit, a good experience with good, polite employees behind the counter who were friendly, kind and helpful.
Our wait time was 50 minutes.
There was never a line up for the actual test and it finished under 15 minutes. The test is on computer; its simple to manage, a manned help counter is nearby. You can take as much time as needed for this test.
The negative reviews here are mostly related to new drivers taking their driving tests and a large percentage of people fail because they haven't had practice driving or have very little practice. The Ministry of Transportation recommends new drivers practice a minimum of ten hours. Find a suitable driving instructor somewhere close to your home. Learn from him and take your test from him too.
It's no wonder there so many motor vehicle accidents on our roadways it because most individuals do not learn proper techniques by practicing. Practice practice practice first so you will pass the test the first time. Read Less

Had to come here multiple times in the past 6 months or so for my own, my wife's and my dad's written tests and road tests.
System was very inefficient, the staff were grumpy, and you see staff who were taking it easy as if they didn't care. The reason I gave a 2-star and not 1 is because there are about 2 staff members out of 7 or 8 that I encountered who are providing reasonably adequate service.
Not sure when the Serco's contract is due. The Ministry of Transport needs to be careful in giving out the next contract. Read Less

I took my final driving test a while back but I despised the experience so much I felt it was appropriate to leave a review. Wish I could give zero stars though. These people are pathetic and abuse their power. They are repugnant and take advantage of your need to pass the exam by putting you under so much pressure and treating you rudely. I had a flat tire due to a screw on the floor at the exit of the centre in the middle of my test. Had to reschedule my test and pay again. Surprising to find out there’s a Canadian tire right behind the centre. Fishy. Read Less

Did my G2 road test and my G license test here. Wait times were short since I booked online for everything like 3 months beforehand, and the lineups to get to the front counter were always short, meaning there were enough instructors to test all the drivers outside (and there are tons every day!) my experience with all the staff was pleasant, instructors were polite and firm with their commands on the road, and staff inside were nice. The test routes were good outside the centre too, generally a low traffic area around mid morning/afternoon before rush hour. Would recommend to anyone else doing their road tests.Read Less

It's a money grab.
First attempt at my G2 I failed because I was put in an uncomfortable situation to parallel park. I had attempted to park behind a HUGE truck and didn't position my self correctly the first time, as I tried my second attempt a huge UHAUL came from behind me as another car was reversing from her driveway beside me. I asked if I could pull up a head and try to park behind any other various cars that were there. He said no move out of their way and make another attempt. Something no one would do in real life and not mention makes it even more nerve racking during a practical test.
Second attempt I finished the lesson and was very confident that I had completed everything that was asked of me correctly and safely (even reverse parking which I struggle with) at the end of the exam the instructor (who was very nice and calm the entire time) asked me how I thought I did with a smile and I said I feel like I did 100% better than last time to which she replied ya you did great you just have to work on your parallel parking its the only thing that stopped you from passing. I was honestly shocked, I asked her if she was serious and she said yes. I asked her why and she said that I had to be within a meter from the curb and that I was just over. First of all there was no way I was a meter away from the curb as I would have been in the road and obstructing traffic, I may not have been as close to the curb as the car in front of me but I was parked close enough that it was safe for me and other cars to pass with out question. Failing me for such a slight "error" (which I cannot really consider an error as there is no space requirement online on the ministry of transportation website either) instead of a note to try to get as close to the curb as possible when parallel parking especially when I did everything else correct, is so unfair.
They can't expect new drivers to be perfect, as long as drivers are not a danger on the road and obey traffic rules, it's so unfair to fail them on such a slight "mistake". Even though I failed the first time and it was not an ideal situation I accept that I did not accomplish what was asked. However my second experience is just not fair, and feel like the instructors have a quota to fail per day so they can get your money. Will not be coming here again. Read Less

I went to the Port Union location for all my tests. I wrote my test the first time and failed by one because of a demerit point question. They told me to come back the next day to rewrite the test. When I passed, I was happy.
When I went to do my G1 exit test I failed the first two times. Did I deserve to fail? Yes. Even though I thought I was ready, I clearly wasn't. It was obvious I needed more practice. The examiners on my first two tests were irritated because I really didn't do the basics like I should have known and I made them uneasy. When I was truly ready I retook my test and passed on my third try.
Before I took my test to get my G, I REALLY practiced. A LOT. I went there to practice during the day since thier parking area is tight and when I was really ready I booked my test. I wasn't interested in taking multiple tests.
I had an older lady facilitate my test and she was great. She was clear, and gave advance notice. I even thanked her during the exam and she said she prefers advance instructions too, so she felt it was important to give the same courtesy to drivers.
The test was fair. She was blunt and I appreciated it.
I passed my G2 exit test on my first try, because I was ready.
I think this location is legitimately operating a fair test center. Read Less
