Do not recommend this school to ANYONE. The in class was good but from there it went down hill. My instructor I had refused to do 1 Hour lessons and only did 2 Hours not to mention he made me stop at his house for lunch. It gets worse though he booked my road test though did not show up to take me there. Had an awesome experience with my driving instructor "Malik", he was patient, listens to your concerns and repeat the lesson over until you are confident. I highly recommend Craig. As a person who failed the road test twice, I decided to get the advices from a professional instructor before I go for another test. And I'm so glad I did this. Craig’s instruction is very clear and easy to follow. He has a whole system to teach the fundamental driving skills. We were able to target and practice my weaknesses on the spot. In class instructor, Michael was a funny guy. His jokes are sardonic, but if that humor doesn't appeal to you he's easy to approach and willing to listen. I found his anecdotal stories relevant because it helped me remember the otherwise dry and bland information with a vivid memory. Office staff, Bianca(?) was very professional and helpful. Before enrolling I had already booked my G2 test and rescheduled it 3 times due to work schedule conflicts and health issues, but this time I was determined to get it within a month as my G1 is within a year of expiry. I paid in full at the beginning of my lessons but had to switch my driving instructor twice: first time due to the fact that he was judging my decision to book my driving test before taking lessons, second due to a family emergency the driving instructor had. Third instructor I got was Malik. He never once made me feel bad about booking the test before buying the classes and lessons and his patience and willingness to accommodate me in the span of the month I had before my driving test resulted in me getting my G2 on the first try! I was a driver that only lacked confidence and his positive attitude, and constructive feedback helped me believe I could become a safe driver :) Thank you to everyone who made this experience a good one! I would not recommend taking the driving class sessions here. The information taught were very basic and things you would know from writing your G1. The only point of it was to get the certificate for a lower insurance rate. I found that the lessons very poorly prepared you for the test that they give you after you complete your 20 hours of class (it's open book so you can use your phone). The lessons were also very slow paced- most of the time spent on the teacher rambling. The hours would have been better used if it focused more on the stuff asked on the test and more useful knowledge. I personally did not like the class instructor Michael at all. He has a very snarky sense of humour which can come off as obnoxious and condescending. He tries too hard to be funny but it always ends up in awkward silences. I was mostly upset about underlying racist, homophobic, and ableist comments that he made. He also has a really loud voice and yells 80% of the time; however, he is very receptive to questions. The classroom is really small and the classes are often overbooked (in the summer- 40 to 60 students). The desks and chairs are vandalized by students, sometimes with homophobic remarks and slurs (they honestly should be covered up or painted over). Michael only teaches weekends so you can get another instructor on Tuesday and Thursday nights. The driving instructor I was recommended was very unresponsive and it took me a week just to book one session after constantly badgering him and having the school get in touch with him. However, they are very good with switching instructors for you and will do so right away if you ask. Shockingly, that instructor had told me he had the least amount of students (35-40) than the other instructors. All the secretaries I interacted with (5) were very nice and helpful, especially Sonya. Overall I didn't hate the whole experience but I definitely did not enjoy my time. I'm very surprised at all the five star reviews (it's almost like these people were given incentives???); there's very little variation in the ratings. All the responses to the negative reviews have been "if you were upset why didn't you speak to the owner" (??? maybe because it's your business and the onus shouldn't be placed on students??). This place is absolutely horrible. In class is completely useless, but my practical driving experience was a nightmare. My instructor was completely unprofessional and sexist. I would be very wary of sending young females to this school. To clarify, it has nothing to do with sexual inappropriateness, my instructor was just extremely patronizing and disrepsectful. (I just feel like you can stick up for yourself a little bit better as an adult than you can as a child. Hence I wouldn't be happy with my 16 year old daughter having to sit through a lesson with that guy.) Beware!Also biggest tip I can give is DO NOT PAY FOR ALL YOUR LESSONS UP FRONT. Pay as you go - give yourself an escape route. If you pay up front, you are stuck with them. I have never had service this bad before. The In-class lessons were useless and barely touched upon any of the rules of the road. The Instructor was more concerned with his comedy routine than teaching anything worthwhile. Obnoxious and rude receptionist didn't come in one day because she apparently had a car accident, which reeks of an uncreative person attempting to rationalize unprofessional behaviour. On that day, students ended up waiting outside of the locked classroom for the instructor to come, whom also came in 15-30 minutes late every day despite the students coming in early every time. Consistent tardiness is unacceptable.The practical driving lessons were good, but I imagine they were comfortable because I was fairly experienced in driving already. Rarely, there were glimpses of the instructor's impatience, which I felt were not particularly conducive to my learning. One can imagine such sternness being more evident with less experienced students.The 20 hours of in-class 'lessons' were a waste of time, but I'll award two stars for the practical driving lessons, which were competently relayed and useful.That said, if you're looking to get these lessons over with and are a decent driver already, maybe this is the school for you. My time at this facility was the WORST EVER. If I could turn back time and have enrolled into another driving school, I would have! The in-class was satisfactory, but what really irked me were the driving instructors. They are lazy, inconsiderate, don't care about your schedule, and are clearly overworked because just booking an appointment was difficult! I have since left this driving school and will go to another one. They also have very poor customer service because when I complained about my first instructor, and in hopes to get another one, the customer service person who I was talking to tried putting the blame on me! How ridiculous. It saddens me that I was recommended to this company from someone that attended this school in another location. I would NOT recommend this school to anyone! Read Less
