Coming from a Health Care and Social Services back ground I was very apprehensive about changing careers into the Trucking Field but after meeting with the Office Staff Elvis, Stephanie, and the Instructor Mark over at North American Transport Driving Academy they provided me with all the positives of the Trucking Industry and they were all able to answer any questions I had asked from them....... I did go to several other Trucking Schools to compare prices and staffing and found North American Transport Driving Academy did have one of the most driving time of all the other Schools out there and decided to take the DZ Course there........ Once classes started I was very impressed that there was only a few students and was told they try to limit their class size to provide more 1 on 1 attention. I checked out all the schools in Ottawa and North American was the best choice because the other schools would have around 10 or more students in one class as for North American they limit their classes to 3 or 4 students so that the students get more one on one time with the instructor. Marc was my instructor and he is very knowledgeable and puts his students first. He also makes you comfortable when training and makes sure you get the time to learn the right skills before moving forward in training. Also the facilities are very clean and there is lots of space for learning. Also management is always there to help you anyway possible. This is why I decided to go with North American Trucking Academy because they put me first before numbers and made sure that I had the tools to succeed. Read Less

I rated it 5 stars before when they had excellent instructors & staff but I feel that I was "jipped" when staff & instructors were changed for an instructor that was an a-hole. I wouldn't recommend this school! Read Less

Looked around a lot before deciding who will have my future in their hands. Chose North American because only one week in class and the rest of the time is hands on. Smaller class size, and was working through their staffing agency within 3 days of graduating. Awesome mentorship program. Thank you to Instructor Moe and to Andre for making this happen. I looked around for the best school as it was for my future. Been to Crossroads and TTC. Decided on North American because on the more hands on truck time than any other school.
