I found the gentleman on the phone to be difficult to understand due to a language barrier however the main reason for my calling was to be informed about prices based on different courses, seeing as there was only the one price stated on the website and it did not state if the course was for "Automatic" or "Manual".
When speaking with the gentleman, it was made clear the Automatic course is $590 and when asked about the Manual course the price quoted over the phone was $1500 (one thousand five hundred). The price for the manual course is double that of the ongoing rate for Manual driving courses offered from other companies within Ottawa.
The rating reflects the price of the manual driving course and not that of the ABC Driving School as a whole.

WORST DRIVING SCHOOL AND COMPANY. These people do not conduct themselves professionally. There are a few days of classroom work and throughout those days the receptionist had her screaming baby at work with her. This disrupted the class incredibly and made it difficult to learn. The guy teaching the class admitted that he had never taught a class before, he is just a road instructor.
I was lucky to get a good instructor for the road portion of the course. When it came to picking up my certificate there was serious problems. I was unable to make it to pick up the certificate for a month or so, so when I called to see when and at which location I could pick it up, the man was EXTREMELY rude, screamed at me and hung up the phone. These people are sketchy, money hungry, sorry excuses for human beings. Do yourself a favor AND DO NOT USE ABC DRIVING SCHOOL. I regret giving my hard earned money to these clowns!

Worst Driving School ever. Teacher cussed at me, was extremely rude and did not take the time and effort to provide the necessary service in which we pay for. I am extremely furious with the way "Paul" one of the instructors at the Wellington school acted and spoke to me. Swearing and Cussing, using foul language, simply because I called him to meet up to review some papers. He told me a time and date, so the day of I call in and ask if we were still on for the time, he says to me, "what are you talking about?". So I told him what he said, he reacted in an unprofessional manner and started to cuss me out.
VERY PROFESSIONAL "PAVEL or PAUL".
P.S. This guy knows less English then my 4 year old cousin.

Very negative. Avoid it. They are unorganized, barely know what MTO expects. Teachers barely speak English and you'll have difficulty understanding them. My driving teacher took 15 min off my 1 hour d...
Very negative. Avoid it. They are unorganized, barely know what MTO expects. Teachers barely speak English and you'll have difficulty understanding them. My driving teacher took 15 min off my 1 hour driving time (which I paid for fully) to stop, get a coffee and smoke. Another teacher finished the class 10 minutes before the end of 1 hour driving session. They have three branches in Ottawa on Main St., Wellington St. , and Walkley Rd.. They are awful. Save your time and money. Avoid ABC driving school and go somewhere that respects your time.
