Hey everybody just had a terrible experience with Ricks Driving school paid the $120 to use their vehicle then they canceled on my last second via text msg, nothing but sleazeballs who wanna take your cash and rip you off now I have to pay for my g2 test because of the ridiculous company, and the driver instructer was awful and barely spoke English, thanks for wasting my time. Very unprofessional, I will be taking my money to a more professional place preferably Rays driving school. Where they have people that speak english and teach the lessons properly, I learned nothing from them they are the absolute worse. I have had the pleasure of going through the in class with Rick and in car with Tamara and the experience was phenomenal. The in class lessons I was able to learn a lot with Rick and he was great with making things clear to understand as well as open to questions with answers that made it so easy to remember. Tamara is AMAZING!! She went above and beyond to fit me into her already busy schedule. She made learning fun and was great with techniques on certain parallel parking that I have always struggled with and now it is easy and natural. She was so flexible with where we can meet and was always a pleasure. The hour would fly by because of how enjoyable the lesson was. I dont think its a good idea for your driving instructers to alow a client to park across the sidewalk and force a pedestrian to on the road to get by your car. Ijust watche this happen on mississaugst in orillia. Should make sure your instructers are following the rules Read Less

Ricks Driving School was very helpful in making it easy to arrange driving lessons in our area (Gravenhurst/Bracebridge). The content was comparable to YDC as my daughter took YDC but the price was certainly much more affordable. I would highly recommend this school. We were very happy with the driver instructor Roger. Ricks driving school was a great experience ! I had Dan as my driver instructor, and he was amazing. He was very good at explaining the rules of the road as well as making me feel comfortable driving behind the wheel. I wouldn't be as confident driving without the classes I had with Dan. I was super nervous to start my driving lessons, and I made some mistakes along the way. But Diane was an amazing driving instructor! She was always very kind, supportive, encouraging and patient. She provided me with the knowledge and skills to successfully pass driving school and get my G2! Even though I finished my driving lessons months prior to going for my G2, Diane took me out for another lesson to boost my confidence. And again, a year later before my G test. Was scared of getting my license for years, finally accepted that it was a necessity for my life, signed up with RDS and wow did they ever make it feel easy! Ricks driving school is an excellent training course to help you attain the knowledge necessary to successfully pass your G2. The in class is informative and easy to understand. The driving instructor I had was Cindy and she was very well educated on the rules of the road and very kind to correct you if you happen to make a mistake on the road, I really appreciated the patience and calm demeanor that my driving instructor had with me and I fully recommend if you take this course to choose Cindy as your driving instructor.
