Aftab is a very honest person. I had to call him as both my kids original driving instructors were not realiable and they did not give proper lessons. My son and daughter had G2 Road Test coming up in 3 days and needed a refresher lesson before the test. Aftab replied promptly and gave an earliest oppointment. Aftab taught my kids proper parking techniques as they were weak in it. And all important points which need to be taken care during drive test. He did use scare ta...ctics to overbook my kids for more lessons taught everything within 1.5 hour lesson. He is a true gentleman and has talent you teach students effectively. I'd like to share the amazing experience I've had with this school and more importantly the instructors. I was someone who waited to like the last minute to attempt a G license and was rushing and calling different places for last minute lessons. What immediately set it apart from other places was how responsive they were. I got a call back after leaving a message almost immediately where as others got back it me within a few days. The instructors were always punctual and professional. I felt like the lessons where always focused on making me a better driver rather than passing and getting a license. Basically, just trying to be a good friend, like the school is aptly named, and making sure I obtain the necessary skills to drive on the road. The instructors apologized for "rudeness" but I have never felt that was the case. It is better to told when you make mistakes and try to correct them and it made me just want to do better. I unfortunately failed the first time I tried to pass my G test but the instructors worked closely with me to ensure I would pass the second time. Mind you my license had expired already and I had to get it extended so it was do or die at this point. Aftab, the CEO of good friends driving, personally took me to the drive centre and gave me the support and confidence I needed to pass on my second attempt. In fact, I was the only student of his for the day and the test was very far away. I'm sure it was a net loss on his part but I felt like he was more concerned about me passing than anything else.
