It was a long road to my G2. I was afraid to drive and would feel so anxious whenever I would get behind the wheel. I went to another driving school first and it was such a bad experience I didn't try to drive for over 2 years; just gave up. I found a recommendation for Dean through a community network and decided to try again. It has taken me some time and a lot of mental prep work but I passed the road test yesterday on my first attempt. I'd give 0 stars if I could. Dean will demean and demotivate you and make you feel like you're a bad driver so he can book you in for more lessons. Scammer. Not honest. Not professional. Will tell you you can't use his car during the test even if you've paid to do so, if you decline to go with extra lessons. However he will tell you that you can go with your own car, so he is only worried about his car and not about his students safety. Does not meet my criteria for a good driving instructor in any respect. I can mention so many other things, but I'll leave it at this for now. Update: Dean, please stop lying and making excuses. More than one person has reported the same situation that you try to scam them into 10 lesson packages. As for not driving safely, after you tried to scam us, went to another instructor for one lesson to learn parking as you did not even attempt to teach that which you should have, and passed the test one day later. I can't believe you don't think you're doing anything wrong. Shame on you. I'm already in contact with someone at the Ministry of Transportation to report this situation. Went here for one lesson to brush up on my skills for my G test. Dean picked up the phone one the first couple of rings and had me out on the road within 2 days. Overall he was a great informative and helpful instructor who pointed out my flaws and helped me work on them. Within an hour and a half he helped me through everything i needed. Dean helped me practise for my G test. I rarely drove on highway before taking classes with him, so I was very nervous... but he put me to ease through his calm attitude and engaging conversation. Dean's Driving school is an excellent school with high quality instructors who really care about creating good habits, and creating safe and responsible drivers. I've been with Dean's driving school from my G1 all the way to my G and have passed with ease and confidence thanks to Dean's guidance and instruction. I never thought of moving my instruction with any other company or organization as I am completely happy with how Dean runs his programs.
