When I decided to take drivers ed, I wasn’t sure which company I wanted to go with. I was going to just go to the closest one to my house until my friend, who took his course here, kept telling me about how amazing this place is, so I booked it here without a second thought. Absolutely the right decision. Sam was an awesome instructor. He made the in class course so much more enjoyable, especially the dry bits, the information that isn’t interesting but that must be taught. H...e would share all sorts of stories about his own experiences as well as the experiences of people he knows, both happy and sad. He also encouraged the class to have their own opinion and to participate and share their own stories and experiences. He was very informative, stressing what he knew were the most important parts of driving and what skills a driver must have, and he did it in a very entertaining and humorous way. He also taught the class using his own knowledge and barely relied on the slides provide, which shows how well he knows what he is doing. I am really happy I decided to take my drivers ed class here and, granted, this was the only company I took the course at, but it would take a lot of effort for another company to make their course as encouraging, informative, entertaining, and educational as DriverZed has. When it comes to drivers education, DriverZed is the best program London has to offer. I felt Sam was an amazing teacher who was easy to talk to, and I think he did an excellent job emphasizing the importance of being responsible behind the wheel. DriverZed has a reputation for preparing new drivers for their G2 tests better then other drivers education programs in London, and after partaking in their program it is easy for me to see why. Sam made the in class portion fun, educational and interesting. He has a dynamic personality and loves to share his own experiences (as well as inviting students to share their own) in an offbeat, hilarious way while still teaching you the fundamentals. As an older new driver (started drivers ed at 32), I was hesitant and wasn't sure what my experience would be like. Matt Huang was an incredible instructor who made me confident in my driving ability. I literally went from being afraid of driving 20km per hour to passing my G2 on the first try. My daughter did NOT do her original in-class/in-car training with DriverZed. Big mistake - very disappointed in the quality of the in-car, the level of confidence after in-car was completed and that she did not feel prepared for a G2 test or driving on her own. At the suggestion a friend who faced a similar situation, booked a private lesson with Sam -- what a complete difference. After one session, the confidence was there, the interest in perfecting the requirements was there and the G2 was booked. She went out with Sam again just before her G2 test and am happy to say was successful on her first try. Thank you Sam and team - wished we had completed all training with you in the first place. I took a G refresher lesson with Sam. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and has many tips and tricks to help you learn and remember skills to be a safe, effective driver. I left my two hour lesson a better driver than I was going in - two hours of lessons only!! I felt marked improvement in my confidence and my awareness. DriverZed was great! The in-class portion was great for really learning how important safe and defensive driving is. I have had a fantastic experience with all members of the team - Alicia, Sam, and Matt have been phenomenal. In-car lesson was awesome - the instructor was super helpful with explaining things to me a bit extra when I needed him to, they are good if you have anxiety about and during driving. Amazing school. I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to take the classes. I was warned about how dry Drivers Education can be (by people who took the course elsewhere) so I braced for a snooze fest but that is not what I got here. Before I signed up with DriverZed, I completed my in-car lessons with a different school in London. Coming out of that school, I had very low confidence, and did not feel that I was prepared at all for my G2 test, or really driving on my own at all. After five in car lessons with my DriverZed teacher, I had complete confidence and was able to pass my G2 test in one try with very few mistakes. I felt 100% safe and knew what to do in every instance due to the guidance and help from my instructor Matt. I cannot thank the DriverZed team enough for helping me through this milestone.
