If I could go back in time where I was looking for driving schools in Kingston, I would have definitely chosen Access Driving school again and again. I highly recommend this school to everyone! The In class was simply enjoyable with Jim's stories and his knowledgeable experience. Jim taught both our children to drive. He showed great calm and patience and trained them well. My son passed with flying colours on his first attempt. After my daughter's lessons were complete but before she took her road test - a span of a few months as she was nervous - it was Jim who called and said "Let's do this! I am sticking with her until she gets her license." - and he did! Yesterday, she passed on her first attempt, using his vehicle. I would highly recommend Access Driving School! Thanks again Jim. As for the previous review, let me explain. I was looking for a driving school for my girlfriend. This is why the review was in her name, and not in mine, I was on her phone. I came on here to see if anything had changed since I attended those 3 driving lessons that I had to chase for. After reading the reviews it becomes very clear to me that there is a big difference between 1, and 5 stars. Unfortunately in this situation, the people who rated 1 star are people who actually review other things quite frequently. I'm not saying you can't have a good experience, I'm saying from my experience, and from these reviews it's clear to me that this company hasn't changed since I've used it ~2 years ago. For anybody looking at getting lessons here. Look at the people reviewing. The people who give 5 stars seem to be accounts created by the owners. You can actually see one guy who gave access 5 stars, and another driving company 1 star. The people who gave 1 star actually review other things. They are active. The people who gave 5 , are ALL non active and have ONLY reviewed this company, and have extremely similar reviews/English patterns. I did some lessons here few years ago. Sad at the service.  Took 729 dollars plus tax.  Did not provide all lessons in a timely or organized manner.  Said we could have a refund because we provided an honest review and the instructor didn't want to finish our lessons.  Caused an argument and stole all the money from us.  Called police , lied, cancelled the refund check for the small amount the police managed to get them to write for us.  Now have to deal with small claims of we want the money back.  Do not use this service. Unprofessional etc. Was asked to come in for a refund. Owners made a huge argument. Called us names. Were super rude. Out of 729 plus tax that they told us would be refunded we ended up with a check for $220, we cashed the check and they cancelled the check so the mo ey was revoked. Have left reviews on google, Yelp etc etc. Do not go here. They also talk poorly of competition that our family knew to be a great place. Need a good school head somewhere else. Unorganized and don't even know who the students are. Had no idea where my daughter was in lessons. Also made up that we had a death and she missed classes. This was not us. We asked to see where they had this written down and were yelled at. Take your hard earned money elsewhere. We now have to deal with a small claims issue which is awful. Read Less

After reading the review from Brooklyn It just caught me off guard, it sounded quite unrealistic. My two children who also went to access driving school had a great experience. I would highly recommend Access driving school to anyone needing a drivers license. I find Access does care about the future of their new drivers. Highly recommended!!!! Read Less

Very very disappointed with this company. Paid close to $600 for drivers ed that I took two months ago and have yet to do 1 in car driving lesson!!! Better yet I landed a career job out of province and they won't give me my money back for the in car lessons!! Scum!!! don't book with this company. Read Less

Jim is seriously the best! After being an anxious driver due to an accident, I never thought I'd even be able to get on the highway. Jim helped me so much, and I actually got my G with his help!
