My experience my Ross has been invaluable. In my 2 years with Ross I had learned more and improved at a rate that I never thought possible in my 10 previous years of bass playing. A humble and patient teacher with a personalised lesson plan and the ability to make complex subjects easy to understand and digestible. All this over Skype as well. Clear video and audio quality means I didn't even have to leave my home. Taking me from rock electric bassist to jazz upright bassist was something I never thought possible, but, thanks to Ross, the transition was completely pain free!

I've been learning the ins and outs of music with Ross for about 8 months now and my experience thus far has been truly life-changing. Not only am I on the way to being the bassist I hope to become, I have learned a great deal about myself in the process. Ross's passion for life and music is contagious.
Aside from being a great bass instructor, Ross is a great guy with a unique approach to teaching that truly goes above and beyond anything I have experienced before.
I feel like the payback thus far has been ten-fold. Ross is by far the best teacher I have ever had.

Ross is both an amazing musician and an awesome teacher. His programs are well thought out and "Taylor'd" (pardon the pun) to your goals and needs. They are fun and effective. I had many 'eureka' moments during his lessons. I now look at the creation and playing of music with different eyes (and ears)... with a much better understanding and appreciation. ... If you want to improve your bass playing technique and/or your musicianship, do yourself a favour and call Ross. His programs are an investment in yourself you'll likely not regret. See more

After teaching myself with online video lessons for 4 years, I had reached a plateau in my playing. I figured it was time to call on a teacher, and I am really glad I called Ross. From the moment I walked in the door I felt immediately welcomed into his home, and I could tell he was as excited to teach as I was to learn. He developed a personalized lesson plan for me based on my aspirations as a bassist, giving me a clear path to achieving my goals.The lessons are well struct...ured, and come with hand outs for future reference. Through one-on-one mentoring, demonstrations, and constructive assessments of your playing in a friendly, yet professional atmosphere; I feel that Ross's lessons excel where other lessons fall short. I had taken a few bass lessons before from other teachers in the area, and always felt disappointed because they did not seem genuinely passionate about bass, let-alone teaching it for any reason other than money. I am really glad I met Ross, his passion is contagious. He loves the bass, he loves to teach, and he wants you to succeed. See more

My experience my Ross has been invaluable. In my 2 years with Ross I had learned more and improved at a rate that I never thought possible in my 10 previous years of bass playing. A humble and patient teacher with a personalised lesson plan and the ability to make complex subjects easy to understand and digestible. All this over Skype as well. I've been learning the ins and outs of music with Ross for about 8 months now and my experience thus far has been truly life-changing. Not only am I on the way to being the bassist I hope to become, I have learned a great deal about myself in the process. Ross's passion for life and music is contagious.
