I e-mailed Mike for a one-hour driving session to prepare for my G-test. He replied within 24 hours and made it easy to book an appointment. BY FAR the best driving instructor I've dealt with. Very informative and confident in his teaching ability. By the end I felt very prepared for my test. I ended up passing my test with flying colours! I went through two different instructors at this driving school after an administrative shuffle and neither one of them really helped me. They were both quite mean and shouted a bit. They both also had a habit of slamming on the brakes when you try applying the brakes to stop at a stop sign. They don't even give you the chance to learn. I would not recommend this driving school. My wife took two one-hour lesson's from Mike himself ( cannot comment on other instructors at school) and he was a great teacher and mentor and confidence booster. She passed her G flying colors. I was in the back seat during lessons and the way he taught was great, would fix in one's mind to take care while driving. The lesson was late by few minutes and he charged less being honest that he did not do full hour. I agree that I never got a reply to email so do not try contacting by email. He replied to texts/phones quite late too but I assume he was busy with lessons. Even when I called to thank him after the test he called me back after 2 days but was glad that I called him to Thank. Mike is an amazing driving instructor, one of the best in my opinion. Mike is very calm which makes it really easy to understand his techniques and to gain confidence to be on the road. I didn't have much driving confidence which can be a danger while driving! Only after 2 one hour driving lessons and an hour practice before my G2 test I passed and have a huge confidence boost for driving. Thanks a lot Mike! Kudos to you. Read Less

Do not use Mikes Driving School, this business has proven time and time again from word of mouth and personal experience as a unprofessional and unorganized operation. Be careful, upon completion of all the requirements (20 hours in-class, 10 hours in-car, and Homelink) for Mikes Driving course, they may or may not have terrible documentation of your records and refuse to give you your certificate despite meeting all requirements of the course. Also some driving instructors at Mikes are rude and just bad at teaching.... Do I need to say more? Don't waste your hard-earned cash at Mikes Driving School to get screwed over! I had a great experience with Mike's Driving school, last year. I am an immigrant. Someone who learnt driving from Mike recommended this school. I tried learning driving 4 years ago in another city. With 3 different trainers at different times. I was not confident and I could not learn anything from any of them. They were good trainers though. But when I was set up with Mike's Driving school, my trainer was Sabi. I was learning fast from the very first day, passed the drive t...est with no remarks. My husband was surprised to see my test result and we were very happy. I still wonder how I learnt so fast with this trainer. He was always patient with my small little doubts, fears. Never made me feel I am asking silly questions. If not Mike's driving school may be I would have not got my license so fast. They care for your money and time.
