Bill Monaghan taught me how to drive when I was 16 years old, I am now 28 years old and I have never had a ticket or been in an accident. I passed on my first try! Thanks so much for all of your patience, lessons and advice Bill Monaghan! Bill was always helpful and would answer any questions I had and would go over how to do things properly so I could do it right on my first try. Bill not only became my instructor but he also turned into a great friend who's always ready to give great advice and guidance when you need it, even after you have finished your lessons. As of March 2017 yd Canada employs two in car instructors. Both male, so if you want your daughter to be taught by a female instructor be sure to ask if they have one available at that time. Highly recommend hiring a female instructor for your daughter. If you get Dominic as an instructor do your self a favour and request another instructor. He has a very short temper with students. He yells at clients. He mocks clients. An instructor verbally abusing your teen shouldn't happen. especially when they are receiving your hard earned money. He is very nervous And has an overall overbearing bad attitude. Not recommended for your teen driver. Patience is an absolutely mandatory requirement of a driving instructor. Especially one who works with young drivers who are at the highest risk for accidents. He is poor at giving instruction. Of course yd canada is for anyone and you should only take Dominic if you already know how to drive and are taking lessons to lower your insurance, learn the collision free techniques or to bush up/fine tune. Otherwise I think he's black spot on the well established young drivers organisation which has been in business since 1970. Very unprofessional. I paid the high enrolment fee due to the organisations reputation. I am not pleased by an otherwise respectable organisation. Which provides cognitive dignostic tests and collision free techniques ect. Read Less
