I'll start with the in-class stuff. I feared it would be a retread of what I learned when I was younger, but it was made to be informative and entertaining. No one was treated as a child (which is nice, as none of us were) and we were engaged and interacting the whole time. For the in-car portion, I had Jonas. I can't express enough how great he was. I had experience with other instructors that didn't leave me feeling so great, but Jonas was exceptional. He was very patient, kind, punctual, friendly, and ultimately a great person to spend upwards of 10 hours with. If possible, request for him to be your instructor!! Read Less

The driving school itself was unorganized at times when connecting me with an instructor, however, this is at no fault to the secretary as she is incredibly overworked. The in-class instructor was engaging and humourous (I don’t remember his name, but he’ll have a lot of stories to tell you). I’m very satisfied with my learning experience with my instructor, Jonas, he was calm and patient, and I felt safe with him as a driving instructor. I am so glad I picked Globe Driving Academy to help me with my driving and with passing my G2 exit test on my first try. I had Jonas as my main instructor and he was fantastic. He was very informative and helped me feel safe and confident with my driving. Jonas was not able to attend and guide me on my last lesson before my exam, but Raza took his place and he was fantastic. He guided me through the exam course at Etobicoke and kept an eye for me on the small details that I missed during the drive. I would highly recommend this driving school. I purchased the full package of classes and in-car instruction in December 2017. I have experience driving in my home country but had a lot to learn about the rules of the road in Canada. The classroom Instruction was clear and concise as the instructor helped us through all the material. My driving instructor, Dalton, was fantastic. He made sure we spent time driving in areas relevant to the G test, including highway instruction. Dalton focused on correcting any bad habits I had and patiently repeated and reinforced what I needed to focus on On the day of the test, I was able to practice with him before the test for any last minute reminders. I ended up taking my test on one of the worst days in December but passed even though driving in these conditions was fairly new to me. I highly recommend requesting for him if possible. He really knows how to teach his students. He creates a comfortable environment where you can learn at your own pace. OMG if anyone has to do a driving test, please request Jason at Globe Driving Academy. Today I had my road test and had the pleasure of meeting a gentleman by the name of Jason. I must say although young extremely knowledgeable. He was calm and patient with me. He advised me of everything the driving instructor wanted me to do. While driving he advised me of what i was doing incorrect. That was extremely helpful as that's why i pass my test of my 1st attempt today. Rozi is an excellent instructor at Globe Driving Academy. She is very encouraging and takes you right to the main roads & traffic to build your confidence from the begging. Her personality is a great match with her profession as she is a very calm & patient person. She is reliable and very punctual which was very important for me as I had a pretty tight schedule at the time I was taking the classes. This is a fantastic driving school. I had In-class lessons with Kristian, who was enthusiastic and engaging and made the material easy to understand. I completed in-car lessons with Raza on April 13 2017, who was by far the best instructor I've ever had. He was very accommodating to my schedule. I had a great experience with this school getting my G1, and G2 license twice. I took my first lessons with Raza, and he was very clear with his instructions all throughout the course. He went with me to the test centre the day of the test, and gave me great tips that helped me greatly to pass my test. When I renewed my G2 for the second time-3 years later-Raza was quick to train me to be prepared for the test and renew my license. He came with me to the test centre very early in the morning and fit me in his schedule last minute. I passed my test and I was very happy. After 26 years of driving overseas (Europe), as a new comer to Toronto I decided to give the road test a try. "Yes, very good driver", the examiner said, "but you miss the Ontarian's rules of driving". In other words she meant I failed the test. Right on the spot, I realized I needed to take some driving lessons. A while after, I approached the Globe driving school. Joanna (the owner) is simply an amazing adviser. Instructor ...Raza... best ever. He helped me gain confide...nce with Toronto's streets, broke my european habits, helped me grow my skills correctly, read the road and, most importantly, defense strategies to use against aggressive drivers. The more I struggled with specific manouvers, the more he pushed me through them. It was Great experience learning in Canada initially I thought I will be fine without taking driving classes and I was planning to go straight for road test some of my Canadian friends suggest me to take driving lessons I'm glad I did take these Lessons it was 10/10 experience with Globe very polite and nice staff especially Naureen and Joanna they both go beyond to help you out and they both are really highly educated one is professor and other just finishing her Master in distance learning no wonder why I find this school different then others , I got my license with their help in first go that was awesome in car Instructor was really professional and patience I just can't believe after sitting hours and hours he doesn't get tired and he really care about final results even last minute he was explaing me important part of exam , I was bit nervous but his voice was in my ear this is automatic fail :D lol the amount energy he spent on me I would be really stupid to fail this exam , I had few options but I'm Glad i picked Globe price was really good and quality was double I wish them luck and definitely I will recommend all my friends and family to Globe , Thank you for your great help :)))))))))) Read Less

I would recommend this school to anyone. In class lessons are very informative.. a bit long but good in content. I had a hard time booking the driving lesson at the begining but then they recommended reaching out to Amir. AMIR was great! He responded right away. Very happy with my experience with Globe. Had my 20 hours of In-class lessons with Assad and he was a very informative, patient, well-spoken instructor. Had my in-car lessons with Reza and he absolutely made me a better driver and gave solid constructive advice each lesson and made me feel at ease driving. He prepped me properly for my G2 road test and I passed it on my first try! I only deduct one point because in general it might be cheaper to buy your package in person. There seemed to be some cheaper promos at the actual school at St Clair and the online prices were inflated a bit. Also if you are the fence about paying extra to use Globe's car for your actual G2 road test I would advice you to buy a package which includes that option. After 10+ hours with Reza's car I felt way more comfortable driving it (than borrowing a car from friend/family) and since it's a proper driving school car I think that was an advantage at the Drive Test center. It costs a lot more if you add on the fee for use of Globe's car for the road test AFTER you buy your package. Plus your instructor will drive with you to the test center so having that extra practice with them right before the G2 test is invaluable. Read Less
