I had a fantastic time learning to drive with McKenna's! Todd is a great classroom instructor, his style of teaching turns the at times dry course material into something that is very enjoyable and fun with stories about real-life experiences that helped me remember the material better. The things I learned in the classroom will help me for years to come. I also had Todd for my first in-car lesson and Kaylee was my instructor for the rest of my in-car lessons both are amazing and super helpful instructors each with a wealth of knowledge. Because of them, I was able to go from never driving a car in my life to being comfortable and confident on the road in a short period of time and pass my road test with flying colours. Most of my in-car lessons were 2 hours each which I really enjoyed and found I learned and retained more each lesson than I would have if it was only an hour each lesson. I'm so happy I found McKenna's when I was researching driving schools in Halifax, they provide excellent value for what you pay for (which is much lower than other schools around). Absolutely stellar experience with McKenna's every step of the way. Todd was really engaging and entertaining as a classroom instructor, he made some pretty dry material actually feel pretty fun to learn. Kaylee was a phenomenal and patient in-car instructor and helped me bring my driving abilities a long way from what they were when I started, allowing me to pass my test with very few points! I will absolutely be recommending McKenna's to anyone needing to learn how to drive - incredible value for money compared to some other driving schools, you get well more than what you pay for from these fine folks!
