Over the last 6 months, I have been taking lessons at Johnson’s Driving School. It was money well spent. I had three different driving instructors Doug, Nej and Warner. All three of these instructors have been working in the driving industry for countless of years and have been former road-test driving instructors themselves for ICBC. Each of them provides world class driving knowledge and they really care about you improving your driving skills. All three instructors really love teaching students and as the student you will have an amazing time learning from them. In terms of teaching, the instructors offer amazing detailed advice on what to look out for both on the road test and in normal life driving situations. They will also take you on ICBC test routes to simulate real-life ICBC driving tests. As a student, you will build up driving confidence and you feel motivated to not just pass your road test but to also become a better driver for life. For someone who is forgetful, I passed my class 5 road test on the first try due to their teachings and ICBC driving test practices.
I would highly recommend this driving school. If you are a student eager to pass your next road test, this is the driving school for you. If you are a parent, looking for a school that provides world-class instructors, this is the school to register your son or daughter for.
Even though, I passed my Class 5 test, I will still be taking driving lessons from this school. You know that saying “Learn for life,” you can never learn enough ways to get better at driving from this driving school while enjoying the learning process.

The worse driving school in Vancouver. It's not the instructors but it's the staff who is unable to answer the phone or book your lessons. I booked all my lessons months in advance when I was able to get a hold of a staff, but they had to reschedule most of my lessons to accommodate other students. Then for the road test, on the day of the exam, they provided me with a different instructor and a different car that I was unfamiliar with. They really don't care that you pass or fail.

After driving for 40 years (including being licensed to drive bus in Vancouver), I was faced with having to take a road test to regain my class 5 drivers license. I can guarantee I would have failed my drivers test without the help of Johnston's driving school. My thanks to everyone involved at Johnston's, and a special shout out to Arzou, she was calm, positive, and not afraid to be assertive when I screwed up.

Had two instructors, Naj and Doug. Naj was very good, nice and patient and really makes sure you know what to expect on the test. Doug was also nice and taught well, but he was a bit impatient, sometimes raising his voice or grabbing the steering wheel without much warning if you do something wrong. But hey, he helped me passed the road test, so what can I say.

We love this driving school. My daughter trained with them and when it was time for my son this year, I knew where we wanted to go. Package deal is reasonable and they deliver. I particularly loved the fact that they pick and drop off. However, our greatest praise and appreciation is for Mr. Chonker who trained my son with patience, diligence and respect. Thank you Mr Chonker from us all!

Amazing school and definitely worth the price! I took the GLP course and had Gord and Doug. I strongly recommend Gord, he's very patient and understanding. Doug is also really funny too! I've had him for my theory class and learned a lot from him. They are both very informative and good teachers.

Johnston's driving school is by far the best driving school I've attended in Vancouver (I went two others). They trained me impeccably to get my driver's license, without pushing for more hours. I called Shabaz and he set my appointments right away to meet my deadline for the road test. I had the fortune to take lessons with Doug & Naj who both were incredible. Speaking of all that, I passed the driving test in a single attempt with 2 minor mistakes.
Highly recommend these guys!

I have come to driving later in life than most. I booked lessons plus use of the school's car for my road test, and everything went well. Scheduling lessons was pretty straightforward. Most of my sessions were with Hussain, but I spent time with Doug, and Werner as well. Lessons with Hussain were great, he was patient, informative, funny, and calming. They all put forward a positive experience and constructive, useful criticism.
The best review that I could possibly offer is this, I passed my class 5 road test on the first try.

This is hands down the best driving school in Vancouver. I passed my N on my first try. I have taken lessons via some private teachers, as well as another school and they didn't come close to the patience and expertise that the Johnston's team has. Other schools struggled to teach me parallel parking for over a month, and one of my specific instructors, Gord, was able to teach me within two lessons.
I highly suggest scheduling with as many different instructors as you will constantly be getting fresh feedback and will avoid becoming too comfortable. Relika, their administrator, is also incredibly helpful and prompt with scheduling lessons.

Over the last 6 months, I have been taking lessons at Johnson’s Driving School. It was money well spent. I had three different driving instructors Doug, Nej and Warner. All three of these instructors have been working in the driving industry for countless of years and have been former road-test driving instructors themselves for ICBC. Each of them provides world class driving knowledge and they really care about you improving your driving skills. All three instructors really love teaching students and as the student you will have an amazing time learning from them. In terms of teaching, the instructors offer amazing detailed advice on what to look out for both on the road test and in normal life driving situations. They will also take you on ICBC test routes to simulate real-life ICBC driving tests. As a student, you will build up driving confidence and you feel motivated to not just pass your road test but to also become a better driver for life. For someone who is forgetful, I passed my class 5 road test on the first try due to their teachings and ICBC driving test practices.

The worse driving school in Vancouver. It's not the instructors but it's the staff who is unable to answer the phone or book your lessons. I booked all my lessons months in advance when I was able to get a hold of a staff, but they had to reschedule most of my lessons to accommodate other students. Then for the road test, on the day of the exam, they provided me with a different instructor and a different car that I was unfamiliar with. They really don't care that you pass or fail.

After driving for 40 years (including being licensed to drive bus in Vancouver), I was faced with having to take a road test to regain my class 5 drivers license. I can guarantee I would have failed my drivers test without the help of Johnston's driving school. Doug was also nice and taught well, but he was a bit impatient, sometimes raising his voice or grabbing the steering wheel without much warning if you do something wrong. We love this driving school. My daughter trained with them and when it was time for my son this year, I knew where we wanted to go. Package deal is reasonable and they deliver. I particularly loved the fact that they pick and drop off. However, our greatest praise and appreciation is for Mr. Chonker who trained my son with patience, diligence and respect. Johnston's driving school is by far the best driving school I've attended in Vancouver (I went two others). They trained me impeccably to get my driver's license, without pushing for more hours. This is hands down the best driving school in Vancouver. I passed my N on my first try. I have taken lessons via some private teachers, as well as another school and they didn't come close to the patience and expertise that the Johnston's team has. Other schools struggled to teach me parallel parking for over a month, and one of my specific instructors, Gord, was able to teach me within two lessons.
