I found Fraser Driving School on Google 2 years ago when I was going to get my N licence. Majority of my lessons were with Vincent and he was always on time. With that said, Samai did a great job for some of the lessons I took with her as well. Fast forward 2 years: I was ready for my full driving licence. Given their expertise and friendly lesson deliveries, it was a no brainer to reach out to Vincent again. Lessons were great and more conversational this time given that I had taken my N-licence package with Vincent. They were also able to accommodate my busy work schedule. I had been eyeballing driving lessons for some time. Being in my late 20's and not having ever spent much time behind the wheel, it was a sound investment. Vincent was my instructor for all my lessons, and he was as cool as a cucumber while I was a nervous wreck initially. He eased my nerves and always gave me constructive criticism during and after the lessons. With their help I passed my N test first try. Their vehicles are great as well. I had a great experience with Fraser Driving School. I took the 3hr brush up and the road test package so that I could prepare myself for the class 5 road test. It was very easy for me to line up my schedule as Megan was very patient and helpful in figuring what will work. I was so happy with my experience. I'm a late-to-driving mom who wanted not just to pass my road test but also ensure that I become a very good driver as I need to drive with my son in the vehicle. I had a great experience with Victor who was my driving instructor. I went in with a learners and I needed to get lessons to acquire my Class 5 drivers license. I had an assessment first and Victor suggested I get a few more before going in for my test. I got a package which was 3 lessons prior to the driving test and one on the day off which total to 4 and I used the school's vehicle for the exam. Also, my schedule tends to shift quite a bit, and the administration made sure to work within what time I had available, even if some of my changes were rather last minute. I finally passed my road test to get my N.  This was the second time. The first time I wanted to see what it would be like and what to expect. Thanks to Fraser driving school and there very patient instructors both Sammai and Vincent. I had no experience driving before and couldn't practise outside of my lessons due to the fact my father has some pretty bad driving habits which I wanted to avoid and there's a also a language barrier. I decided to go to a driving school to get more help with my driving skills before I went for my N a year ago.... I had Sumai as my instructor... After I got my L again I went back to the school and had Sumai teach me again... She was very patient and helped me gain my confidence for driving... But when I'm at home I didn't have my own car so didn't practise much so when it came to my driving test I was nervous and didn't get enough practise for parking which was my weakness but Sumai showed me a easy way to back in and parallel park and gave me the confidence again and when I went in for my driving test I passed.... My instructor made sure to keep letting me know the safest ways to drive and made sure to remind me of the things I needed to change she was very good at remembering all the things I needed to work on and I am glad I made the decision to get help from a professional cause I am now a new driver and I thank Fraser Driving school for their help.... I was really happy with the education I received. I loved the friendly reminders about upcoming classes and that they always followed up on any requests (calling me when class slots or new examination dates opened up..etc). Really thorough team :) Samai was great for me! She was really attentive to my driving, the things I was good at and of course, always brushing up on the things that needed work. She remembers just about everything! She was really friendly and I appreciated that she was frank about the things that she spotted in my driving (good/bad habits and weather or not I had been practicing). I have to say that I was in the same predicament as the first two reviewers: 30 and no license. DO NOT TAKE LESSONS HERE!They are over priced and not very organized. I took 7 lessons here and they were constantly late. The one time I was 5 minutes late they docked it off my driving time, which would be fair if they didn't do the same thing to me all the time.   They switched my teacher around on me with out even calling me to let me know.   I started taking lessons with someone else for way cheaper, and they basically told me everything that the instructor taught me was wrong and I had to re-learn everything.   Really disappointed with Fraser driving school, I will advise all my friends to stay away. I have a confession:: I am 29 years old and only JUST got my 'N'.About 5 months ago I did a package of 6 lessons with another driving school. I then took a few months to brush up my skills and get some practice before booking my road test. Before my test, I wanted to just do another quick lesson to iron out any remaining wrinkles in my driving. I did one lesson with Vincent at Fraser Driving School... and then the next week I came back did another lesson with Vincent and then used their/his car for my Road Test. I PASSED!Even though I only had 2 quick lessons with Vincent, I found myself very comfortable driving with him. His calm, polite and kind disposition immediately put me at ease. He was full of helpful tips & tricks, and offered just the right amount of praise vs 'helpful observations'. He made me feel confident and capable while still letting me know what I could improve on--- a delicate balance!I wish I had done ALL my lessons with Fraser Driving School! You may be asking yourself why one star is docked? That's because the school does not offer a 'pick up from your home' option. You have to goto them. FORTUNATELY they are very conveniently located next to Commercial Drive Skytrain... I had an excellent experience learning how to drive at Fraser Driving School. The instructors were very patient and encouraging, They taught me everything I needed to know about being a safe & defensive driver. Eventually, I stoped being fearful of driving and developed confidence. Soon after, my instructor scheduled my road test and advised me that I was ready to take it. I passed on the first time! Two years later, I returned to the school and took brush up lessons to prepare for my class 5 exam. I admit it - I never got my license as a teenager, and living in the city has given me no reason to ever do so. Until now, when as a late twenty something I want to do things like go to Ikea, and go on roadtrips. Unfortunately, my late bloomer status left me with a mild to moderate fear of driving - like, a month ago I did not even know how to TURN THE CAR ON. Until now! My driving instructor is patient, practical and professional and has taken me from timid ignoramus to someone who can actually drive a vehicle!I am still only halfway through the process, but my confidence is growing daily.  I like that the student cars all have emergency steering wheels that the instructor can control, and I like that he congratulates me with a "You got it!" everytime I improve.
