Got my class 5 license in one try Transitioning from foreign license to Canadian license take much more than just knowing how to drive, lots of things that is different, but the instructor explained everything very clearly and he is very patient to drivers, the experience is amazing, hes a very friendly and patient guy and not awkward or nerve wrecking at all, recommended!!!! Keyvan is an excellent instructor! He is extremely patient and explains things in detail. The fact that he took the time to explain 'why' we followed a particular procedure rather than just asking me to do it made a huge difference for me. I worked with one other driving school before working with Keyvan and I cannot stress how important it is to have an instructor who doesn't get mad at you for making mistakes or asking questions - especially when you are a beginner. 100% recommended. A horrible experience and a waste of time and money! I chose this school because it is approved from ICBC, but the instructor was not up to date with the information in the Learn To Drive Smart Manual. He started arguing with me that I haven't read the manual, but in reality he was the one who hasn't. For starters, he didn't even know how we are supposed to hold the steering wheel when there is an airbag. He was teaching me a bunch of wrong things about speed limits, signs etc (I later verified with ICBC and they confirmed the info was wrong). At the end of the lesson he even told me between the lines that I was going to fail my driving test. That was one day before my road test and it not only affected my confidence, but also confused me completely. After making sure all the information the instructor gave me was wrong, I called the school and talked to the manager. I told him what had happened and asked for my money back, since the class wasn't helpful at all, the complete opposite actually. Since I didn't pass my road test I was also prepared to take one more class with another instructor as compensation. The manager was very rude to me, claiming the instructor was right in everything he said (I gave him all the examples) and that they cannot refund me just because I "didn't like the instructor". He kept saying they have 20 years of experience at teaching. I understand that, but if they are an approved school from ICBC their instructors also need to be up to date with the latest manual. I informed ICBC about this school. If you were thinking about taking lessons with this school I strongly advise you not to do so. Read Less

Keyvan is the best instructor I've ever had! He knows exactly what you need and he ensures that you get ready for the exam. Also, he cares about his students and his vehicle is almost a brand new Corolla, which is a great car to practice driving! Try a lesson with Keyvan, and you will see what I mean. Read Less
