I had the pleasure of completing my class 4 Unrestricted lessons with Neil from NSDS. The material is taught in a straight forward, easy to learn manner. North Shore Driving School is the #1 place to take driving lessons in the lower mainland!!! I took lessons in there truck division to obtain my class 3 commercial vehicle license and also took there air brake endorsement course. All of the instructors are excellent, they all have many years of experience and offer professional and encouraging advice. These folks are simply the best. Both my kids have taken the full course and are confident, safe and sensible drivers. This is the best investment we could have made, not only for the safety of our new drivers but for the general public as well! Not only do they teach driving skills and the rules of the road, they help new drivers understand the awesome responsibility they have in operating a car. I come from Europe and I have my driver license for 13years. However being in Canada for more than 3months I had to repass the knowledge and road tests to get my BC driver license. The quickest appointment I could got for the road test was North Vancouver, so coming from south Surrey I decided to take one driving class in the surrounding of the ICBC office. I choosed Northshore driving school and I had such great experience with them. The lady at the reception welcome me and made me feel relax before the lesson and explain to me everything I should know. I had Eric as my instructor and he was amazing as well, super calm, friendly and he gave me all the tips I needed for my road test! ... The day of my road test they save my day for personal reason but I couldnt thank them more! But the best new is that I got my driver license class 5 !!! Our daycare has put 4 both owners and two employees through the NVDS driving lessons to get a class 4 drivers licence and all 4 had success. The training was relaxed, through and effective. Their instructors are great! We would recommend them to anybody wanting to do a class 4 licence. Read Less

Great experience all around!. My daughter Rachel took lessons with Eric. He is a friendly and professional instructor. He is calm and good humored which helped put my daughter at ease. A very special thanks to Elena!!. The service we received was excellent. She was very patient and accommodating when we had to reschedule on several occasions and also called us with reminders on what to bring to lessons and to the road test. After my daughter passed her test Elena called to congratulate her which I thought was above and beyond. I learned from North Shore Driving School since getting my L. Had great lessons with both Eric and Doug that helped me learn important driving skills.
