The instructor was 20 minutes late and not skilled to prepare a student for a road test. The service was not professional as the instructor kept blaming me for giving him the wrong address when in fact I gave my legal address when I booked my lesson. During the curse of my lesson, poor driving instructions were given and often he would use his hands as a way of communicating what he wanted me to do. This is not acceptable as the driven MUST always keep eyes on the road. Please give proper training to your instructors. Read Less

This driving school is hands down the best. My instructor Marin was absolutely amazing. She was patient, encouraging, kind, extremely knowledgeable, and very detail oriented. I got the 10 lesson package + a lesson just before my driving exam. I only drove with my dad for about half an hour one time outside of those lessons. Needless to say I past my N test the first time with flying colours (the examiners words not mine). They really do care about preparing you to be a safe driver for when you're out on the road by yourself, rather than just helping you pass the test. 10/10 would recommend for anyone who is new to driving. Finally after long years of stressing out about getting my license, I passed my N today!!! I was in a spiral... I got my L about five years ago and I had to renew my L twice, on top of that failed my road test 3 times. I've had several teachers who taught privately, but from my experience Capilano Driving School had the best curriculum. I got 6 lessons in total, and it was totally worth the money! They taught me in detail what I was doing wrong and I was quickly able to get rid of my bad habits. Even though I didn't get the road test package on the day of my test, my teacher called me in the morning to make sure I had any last minute questions. They taught me how to be a safe driver and I'm very thankful for them. I would definitely recommend to all. Read Less

Terrible place! I got one class before my test and the instructor (which seems to be the owner of the place) was super rude. She put me down all the time repeating that I would not pass, instead to help and show me what to do. I had to control myself to finish the class without a big argument with her. Result of that: I failed! One week after that I got one single class with another nearby school and I passed the road test with no mistakes. They have amazing, experienced and really friendly instructors. They made driving easy for me and they well prepare you for your road test! Also, they practice with you in all the road test areas so that you know what you'll be tested on because you will already have been on the road test roads. Overall a very good driving school! Definitely would recommend if you're taking your road test in North Vancouver! Read Less
