We did not get what we paid for. My daughter had her full complement of theory courses and most of her driving lessons, but was not given the advertised 'two hour warmup' for the driving test, nor was she given use of the SIDS car for her test.
Why? Well, we were told after her course of driving lessons that our daughter was not ready for the road test, and she would need four more lessons, at a cost of $125.00, in order to be competent enough to pass the test. My husband and I had both been driving with our daughter, we had confidence in her ability, and the 'necessary' four extra lessons felt like a shakedown.
I asked Greg to book a driving test for my daughter. It took nine days, and several phone calls, to get an answer from him. Yes, the test was booked, but if we wanted to have that 'warmup' and use the driving school's car, we would have to pay an extra $100.00.
We declined.
She passed the test, without the extra lessons, in her own car.
I believe that Stormie and Greg mean well, but, in their business, erring on the side of caution = profit. They have nothing to lose by giving, and charging, for extra lessons, but Learners and their parents have a lot to lose - time, money, and confidence in their own skills. Read Less
