I was driving down Calgary trail today and noticed one of your car in the left hand lane doing about 8 km below the speed limit. Being almost rush hourm, no need to say that a number of cars were impatiently waiting behind. Once stopped at a red light, I saw the driver instructor talking on his cell phone. ... I'm wondering what kind of training your instructors have and why they are not respecting the distracted driver' law while being behind the wheel. Read Less

Thankfully I have not had the misfortune of using the services of this organization. My experience with them came yesterday when my wife and I happened to get trapped ( due to traffic flow) behind one of their instructors on 91 Street coming out of Costco. The posted speed limit at that point is 70 kmh. We got trapped behind him because he was going 45 kmh and when we finally had the chance to get past him we looked over and noticed that he was also talking on his cell phone. Not only should this person not be teaching others how to drive but he needs to have his license taken away until he takes some driving lessons himself. I have a daughter who will be taking driving lessons herself and I know 1 company that certainly will not be getting our business.

- He made me stop outside his house where he went inside for 10 - 15 minutes while I waited outside.
- He made me stop outside an apartment near the Bonnie Doon traffic circle where he went inside for about 30 minutes while I waited outside.
- On numerous occasions, he fell asleep while I was driving.
Based on my experience, I will not recommend ABC Defensive Driving School to anyone. The only reason why I'm giving two stars is because the "classroom" instruction was quite good.

This isn't even the worst thing that happened, just one example.
Never, ever, go to this driving school.
