Honestly couldn't have asked for a better place to learn how to drive. Hassan taught my in class and it was fantastic, All the lessons were on point and were essential when it came to driving, my friends told me that driving school was boring but for me it wasn't, it was actually interesting especially the stories he told us about the accidents that have happened in the past and how to avoid those accidents. I also enjoyed being a coordinator, it just made the experience much better and I got to meet people because of it, at first I thought I wasn't fit for this task but as time progressed I started to get used to it and opened up to more people. My in vehicle was also fantastic with Robert, He was very kind to me and every time I made a mistake he would explain what I did wrong which came in handy during my road test. He also brought me to parts of the city I have never been in which was fascinating since I got to see a part of downtown. He taught me how to parallel park with ease and without him I definitely wouldn't have passed my road test the first try. I would definitely recommend this Derek Brown to everyone and Robert as a instructor

If you're taking your Class 1,3,or 5 and you didn't sign up with these guys you're doing it wrong already! My instructors were Hamza(classroom Q Endorsement) and Karen (Driving ) Both are very knowledgeable and thorough. If you leave this place not knowing your stuff, you fell asleep or you just weren't present. I highly recommend this driving academy.

I took my training when I got my learners and both enjoyed the in class and on road portions of the training. Robert was awesome and made me feel confident in my skills as a student. I signed up for a further couple sessions of driving with Robert before my driver's exam and he gave reassured me that I had the skills to pass my exam, which I did. Thank you Derek Brown and especially rockin Robert!

Seriously the best driving school ever! So first off... The staff that works there is awesome and they are super friendly and welcoming!! When I went to Derek Brown's I was literally TERRIFIED of getting behind the wheel.. I am 27 and it was long overdue to get over my fear and start driving. The ladies working in there were super awesome and told me that Id learn everything and not be scared anymore. First the in-classroom which is 15 hours and so fun!!! Don't be worried about the test because the class instructor Ahmed is awesome and fun and you will learn everything you need to pass! Then the driving... I had a guy named Robert as my instructor for the 10 hours. Robert is SO AWESOME!!! He will stay completely calm the whole time and will make you feel super calm. I was so scared on my first 2 hours and he made me feel not only ready to drive but excited to drive. He has amazing methods for parallel parking, downhill, uphill and everything you can think of. He's also super funny and never once got upset or yelled and freaked out or anything like that. He just shows you how to correct it and he definitely will help give you the tools to make you a better driver. You wont be dreading going to do driving, you'll be s pumped up and ready to rock it! Thanks to Robert and how amazing his teaching is; I not only passed the course with an A but I also OWNED my road test on the first try! I even was able to do my road test right after my last 2 hours so I got my class 5 GDL 30 minutes after my last 2 hours!!!! So super happy with Derek Browns Academy of Driving!!! Definitely worth the money I paid! Id give 10 STARS but it only lets me do 5!!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! Especially YOU Robert!!! Ill be back for the Winter Driving course!!!

Amazing office staff and amazing instructors for both in class and on the road training. Passed class 1 road test first try. You are limited to a certain number of hours with your instructor teaching you therefore, if you want to do well, you will have to commit to studying on your own time as well. Thank you Derek Brown's Academy of Driving.

Great school. My in vehicle instructor was Robert. Really cool guy. And he's got technique to help you remember things when you do the road test. I passed my test first try :)

I learned a lot from this great driving school ranging from safe driving knowledge and maneuver skills. I enjoyed not only the in-class but also the in-vehicle training lessons. My instructor is Robert who is the best coach I have ever met. He is knowledgeable,humor,and very professional. With the impeccable instructions provided by Robert, I passed the road test. I don't give a 5 star unless it succeeds all and ever exceptions. Dave Noseworthy is the best adult instructor I've ever experienced. With 10 different courses under my belt the time he takes to make sure you are prepared for the test it makes him more then qualified to help you with your future. As a whole I give Derek Browns a 10 star with preparing the future of trucking in the right direction. Great price with very friendly environment there's no other choice I would recommend.

Took an air brake course (Q endorsement) at Derek Brown's with instructor David Nosworthy. Certainly enjoyed (and found valuable) David sharing his extensive experience in trucking and driver training. He showed a lot of patience dealing with the wide range of knowledge and experience of the students in the class.

Pete is the most patient and knowledgeable driving instructor. I highly recommended him. As someone who had never driven before, my classes with Pete were a great experience. Even through all of my anxiousness and mistakes he was very patient. He never gives up on his students ( and I was a terrible driver, I am still taking classes!) He's also hilarious. Five stars all around!

Honestly couldn't have asked for a better place to learn how to drive. Hassan taught my in class and it was fantastic, All the lessons were on point and were essential when it came to driving, my friends told me that driving school was boring but for me it wasn't, it was actually interesting especially the stories he told us about the accidents that have happened in the past and how to avoid those accidents. My instructors were Hamza(classroom Q Endorsement) and Karen (Driving ) Both are very knowledgeable and thorough. I don't give a 5 star unless it succeeds all and ever exceptions. Dave Noseworthy is the best adult instructor I've ever experienced. With 10 different courses under my belt the time he takes to make sure you are prepared for the test it makes him more then qualified to help you with your future. Pete is the most patient and knowledgeable driving instructor. I highly recommended him. As someone who had never driven before, my classes with Pete were a great experience. Even through all of my anxiousness and mistakes he was very patient. He never gives up on his students ( and I was a terrible driver, I am still taking classes!) He's also hilarious. Five stars all around!
