Having completed my HR license with AHV 3 years ago, and finding it extremely helpful and accommodating for my experience levels, I chose to utilise them again for my HC this week. This time, my course was at the Campbellfield location. Once again, I found that the entire experience exceeded my expectations. The culture they have cultivated across this company is second to none and is the very reason I keep coming back. I had a tough time with learning the ranger gearbox, and was doubtful of my early capabilities, however the expertise and training techniques used were some of the best I’d experienced. There is a great deal yet to learn, but I can honestly say these lot pack a hell of a punch when it comes to personal education over the short term. If they can teach me, they can teach anyone really. In addition to teaching talent, all the staff were very approachable, helpful and professional. I will recommend anyone and everyone to utilise Advanced Heavy Vehicles after such a positive experience. Today I completed my course on (HC) Heavy Combination license. I was very nervous having not driven that style of truck before. I had Mark Mcginn as my instructor. Let me tell you he was absolutely fantastic, informative, very patient and just an all round top bloke. My results were all thanks to Mark. I had the priviledge of having a very knowledgable and skillful trainer (Loathar). He went an extra mile to discuss my individual requirements for HR License and based on which I was able to make an educated and informed decision of choosing out of NON SYNCHRO test that I never required in the first place.
