PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE JOINING THIS SCHOOL!!! Unfortunately, my wife’s experience with Jamie as a driving instructor was very disappointing. While learning to drive can be stressful, we expected patience and professionalism — especially from someone in a teaching role. Jamie often reacted harshly to simple mistakes by shouting at my wife during lessons, which only increased her anxiety and undermined her confidence. On one occasion, when she was hesitant at a give way, he yelled at her and accused her of never listening. He even went as far as saying he couldn’t teach her anymore — mid-lesson — which was incredibly unprofessional and discouraging. Instead of guiding her calmly or helping her correct her mistakes, he often appeared panicked himself, which is not something you’d expect from a qualified instructor. His behaviour made the learning experience more stressful than it needed to be. Driving instructors should empower and support their students, not demotivate or shame them. Sadly, that was not the case here. I would not recommend him to anyone looking for a patient and supportive learning environment. UPDATE AFTER OWNER’S RESPONSE:: Thanks for your response, but I was hoping for a bit of accountability instead of sarcasm. Mocking my other reviews doesn’t change the fact that my wife had a genuinely negative experience with your instructor. We gave honest feedback based on how she was treated — which included being shouted at and left in tears during a lesson. Winning an award doesn’t excuse poor behaviour toward students.
