My Excel Drive instructor was Sam Georgiou, he was my third instructor in a period of 6 months, although I have had lessons on and off since I was in my early 20's. I suppose I was a difficult student or my previous instructors were just not the right fit. Immediately after having lessons with Sam, I felt encouraged, confident and ready to take my test. Highly recommend Excel Drive's Andy Coleman as an instructor who gave me the confidence to pass my test in Victoria. Always patient even when answering the smallest questions. His calm nature made me feel at ease in the lead up to the test. I just got my License. And I really appreciate the guidance from my instructor - Dave. He is an awsome guy and I really enjoyed the time driving with him. My instructor, Robert Garard, is great. I have an oversea licence and needed an SA driver's licence so I booked in with Robert before the practical driving test. I've continued booking lessons with him until I feel I am comfortable to do the test and I passed the test on my first go. Robert is very professional and patient and he will tell you all the points you need to watch out for and go through all the slow speed maneuvor with you again and again until you get it. On test day, he actually picked you up much earlier so he can go through everything with you again before the test and help you familiarise yourself with the area and streets the test might be on. I had previously had a bad experience with an instructor who shattered my confidence and made me really unwilling to get back behind the wheel of a car. I decided to bite the bullet and I was given Melissa as my instructor, and as soon as I met her, I felt comfortable. Melissa is so friendly and helpful but most importantly, patient and understanding. She gave me the skills and confidence I needed to pass my test on the first go! I have just been nearly side swiped at Moonee Ponds Junction by the careless and dangerous driving of one of your driving instructors. There was only one person in the little red car 1BG 2DN. Decided to change lanes without signal squeezing my space which required evasive action but nowhere to go. Missed being an accident by millimetres. Not good enough !Read Less
