For context I already know how to drive (hold an overseas license), but needed a lot of help getting familiar with the roads/rules here. I started my driving journey with dean about 3 months ago, I hadn't driven in over a year and I was pretty nervous to get back onto the road after so much time. Dean was so patient, calm and encouraging that soon, all of that nervousness went away! Our lessons were well planned, and soon dean was teaching me parallel parking ( which at first I hated)- he gave me really easy to follow instructions and we went over it again and again until I had it perfect! On the day of my test, he was so supportive and encouraging- we went for an hour warm up and then I passed my test first go!! He stayed after the test was over, And drove me back to my area once I'd completed my paperwork. Marvin from Master Driving School was an excellent driving instructor who always arrived promptly and was very flexible with cancellations due to my busy University and work schedule. He looked after me very well and helped me to pass my Ps test on the first go. I honestly couldn't be happier with how Lauren was teaching me. She was able to give very, very good advice and was generally a friendly person to drive with and have instructing me. I had just come off an extraordinarily arrogant driving instructor who was barely trying, and I doubt I would have passed my driving test if I had stuck with him. Lauren was able to help me with exactly what I needed to know and is so good at explaining all the little things that I was doing wrong that might have lead to points having been docked on my final test.
