My instructor, Robert Garard, is great. I have an oversea licence and needed an SA driver's licence so I booked in with Robert before the practical driving test. I've continued booking lessons with him until I feel I am comfortable to do the test and I passed the test on my first go. Robert is very professional and patient and he will tell you all the points you need to watch out for and go through all the slow speed maneuvor with you again and again until you get it. On test day, he actually picked you up much earlier so he can go through everything with you again before the test and help you familiarise yourself with the area and streets the test might be on. Rip your money off, if you are an immigrant is even worse, i have spent over $2000, dont go with this guys, very slow progress with the tutor, lose about 20 min to drive "to perfect" place to learn. They domt want you to learn, they want your money. Read Less

I am extremely pleased with my time with Excel Driving and learning with Dave. He was excellent, patient, fair and very understanding with me! He even helped me to conquer my nervousness when driving and my anxiety during test situations! Couldn't thank him enough! At every lesson Dave would provide helpful feedback and advice on my driving and how I could improve it to pass my final CBT drive. He was incredibly fair and patient to me by recognising my prior driving experience undertaking VORT and not extending the lessons to increase the charges (like so many other driving instructors do). Because of this, my family and I are extremely pleased with the manner in which he has treated us.
