BDA is a really great driving school and Mark is a wonderful driving instructor. I highly recommend BDA and Mark to anyone wanting to learn how to drive. Mark is an awesome driving instructor – very knowledgeable and has great interpersonal skills. From the very first day, he gave me tips that made driving so much easier. He ensured that I understood what I needed to do and explained to me the rationale behind them. I came to appreciate the times he took over the driver’s sea...t and talked me through the process while demonstrating on the proper and safer way to drive. Talking through the process made me a more competent driver. I would hear Mark’s voice in my head while driving (“slow down to snail pace when approaching roundabouts… steer away from the obstacle on the side of the road… read the road signs…”) and I would know the right thing to do. As I was a perfectionist, his driving demonstrations were extremely helpful as I tried my best to emulate his way of driving and so I ended up being a smooth driver like him. :D Mark is able to adjust his behaviour and teaching style to suit each student. There were many situations when I became frustrated and irritable during lessons but Mark was very understanding and kind. He was able to tolerate my moments of grumpiness (sorry, mark!) and also my weirdness (haha!). He also remained patient with me during the many times I messed up. He prepared me not just for the driving test, but real driving in real roads. With Mark, I didn’t just get to drive around the Ipswich test area. I also got to drive around Brisbane city, the countryside, Sherwood, and even all the way to Gold Coast. He exposed me to a lot of difficult driving scenarios which made me a more competent driver. Because of this, the driving test became so much more easy. You definitely get more than your money’s worth with BDA. Mark, I can’t count the times you went above and beyond for me and I AM SUPER GRATEFUL for all that you’ve done. From making sure that I was comfortable while I was driving because I was super fussy (and also a shorty) to squeezing in my lessons even though you had a lot of things going on to those critical final lessons before the driving test. Thank you for helping me with all the test day paperwork and that whole getting-your-licence process because I would have been confused as hell. Thank you for your pep talks especially the few hours before the test and for helping me stay calm which enabled me to perform at the best of my ability. I've never had a more fun, enjoyable, relaxed, learning experience and I've had 3 teachers, so without a doubt Mark is the best. He doesn't just teach you the physical parts of driving, he prepares you mentally and puts you in a relaxed but focused state of mind. He takes the time and effort to make you the best driver you can be. He knows his stuff and know how nervous people can be at certain stages of driving and how to deal with that. He is not just a teacher to me, he is a bloody champion! Thanks Mark for helping me get my license and all the fun we had on the way. Cheers.

I've never had a more fun, enjoyable, relaxed, learning experience and I've had 3 teachers, so without a doubt Mark is the best. He doesn't just teach you the physical parts of driving, he prepares you mentally and puts you in a relaxed but focused state of mind. He takes the time and effort to make you the best driver you can be. He knows his stuff and know how nervous people can be at certain stages of driving and how to deal with that. He is not just a teacher to me, he is a bloody champion! Thanks Mark for helping me get my license and all the fun we had on the way. Cheers.

Mark you are such a brilliant instructor. I failed my driving test seven times in last ten years. One of my friend recommends me Mark. He worked really hard with me and I passed my test in first attempt. I have no words Mark to appreciate you and your effort that you have put for my driving test. I remember you use to prevent extra time without charging extra.

BDA is a great driving school, I am very glad my fiancé came across Marks high reviews in our search for a new driving instructor.
I passed my test! With a lot of thanks to Mark and his professional approach to driving instructing.
The car was beautiful, not just outside with the eye catching wrap but spotless inside too for every lesson I did.
Marks teaching not only prepared me for the test but has made me confident to trust myself on the roads and be ready for all the scenarios that will come after test day too.
He even spent the drive back from getting my license explaining how to treat car parks, shopping centres etc so I would feel calm heading out on my own in the days to come.
The rules and regulations easy to understand while being taught the justification for their implementation which makes everything easier to remember.
Mark has a crazy amount of road knowledge but also knows how to "re wire your brain" so everything clicks and you wonder what was all the fuss about prior.
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Mark because learning how to drive was no longer a burden but became a very positive team effort.

If you are looking for a friendly, supportive and knowledgeable driving instructor, Mark is the teacher for you. I started driving lessons full of fear and anxiety (I would try to avoid driving at all times), but after my first lesson with Mark, I felt safe and comfortable. Mark goes the extra mile, he took the time and care from guiding me through the first lesson to mentoring me so I felt comfortable to pass my test on the first go!
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Mark because learning how to drive is a team effort! I would not have had such an enjoyable experience learning how to be a safe and competent driver without Mark's ability to tailor lessons to meet my individual learning needs.
I am now happy to drive which I did not think was possible. If you are looking for a driving instructor, Mark from Brisbane Driving Academy is my teacher of choice!

Can't even express how grateful I am for the service & care given by Mark in helping my daughter get her licence. He put her at ease within 5 minutes in the first lesson, & proceeded to turn her into a confident, competent, & safe driver. BEYOND value for money, 12/10 recommend!

BDA is an excellent driving school to take lessons from. Mark is a pro and is probably one of the best driving teachers out there. I have learned so much from him over the short span of 31 lessons and got my Ps on my first attempt! :) One of the best things about Mark is that he constantly pushes his students to do better and you can see yourself improving and gaining more confidence with every lesson. He focuses on good driving techniques and emphasizes on proper road safety.... I have seen vast improvements in my steering, breaking and overall driving, thanks to him. He taught me to be more aware of other cars and to always read the signs because they are my best friends, he says lol not to mention he saved my ass a fair amount of times while driving! Last, but not the least, Mark is patient and encouraging. He explains concepts properly and gives good driving tips which helped me gain confidence while on the road. Also, he is darn good company and a good person to talk to. Would highly recommend BDA to everyone out there who want to get their licence, and even those who already have it, but want to be a better driver. Thanks again for teaching me, Mark. After going to many other driving schools, and having my confidence knocked down I was in serious search to find a driving school that would help me get my license. Brisbane Driving Academy did even more then that, they helped guide me and taught me beyond what the driving test assesses you on. They are extremely well priced and very reasonable in not giving you to many unnecessary lessons. As a mother of two, and who has struggled with finding the time and courage in driving lessons I'm so happy I found BDA. They assisted in me finally gaining my license and being safe on the road for my family and I, thanks mark!

BDA is a really great driving school and Mark is a wonderful driving instructor. I highly recommend BDA and Mark to anyone wanting to learn how to drive. BDA is a great driving school, I am very glad my fiancé came across Marks high reviews in our search for a new driving instructor.
I passed my test! With a lot of thanks to Mark and his professional approach to driving instructing.

If you are looking for a friendly, supportive and knowledgeable driving instructor, Mark is the teacher for you. I started driving lessons full of fear and anxiety (I would try to avoid driving at all times), but after my first lesson with Mark, I felt safe and comfortable. After going to many other driving schools, and having my confidence knocked down I was in serious search to find a driving school that would help me get my license. Brisbane Driving Academy did even more then that, they helped guide me and taught me beyond what the driving test assesses you on.
