Want to be forced to learn to ride in torrential rain or lose your money? Read on ... Very poor experience...
I booked to do a course last weekend and there was torrential rain coming down whole day Friday and Friday evening. Flash flooding. Thunder,lightening you name it.
So late Friday night in middle of storm I get a text saying the ride is still on the following day.
I relied saying I’ll be there but if it’s still torrential rain I will look to reschedule. I get a short respond saying they still do the course in the rain. Really .. I’m a learner and never ridden bikes on the street before and I’ll be expended to ride in torrential rain. Woooaah I am looking to get a bike to do casual weekend riding and never plan on riding in the rain now I’m expected to learn in torrential rain ???
Anyway I reconfirm I will be there but if it’s still torrential rain I will expect a reschedule.
Response I get says I will have to pay again.
I respond saying that’s awesome customer service. First you wanna force me to learn to ride a street bike in hectic rain then you wanna rip me off and charge me again for a reschedule.
Anyway I then get told he will cancel my booking and refund me. So I agree and pass my bank details on for refund only to discover today I receive only a part refund.
How awesome was that for a customer experience ...

Motodojo is hands down the best place to do anything motorcycle licence related. I had the experience of doing my R's test with Elliot. He had a practical way of assessing with a great selection of bikes that were not just the typical 650cc's. The afternoon its self was very affordable with great pricing and felt more like a fun ride then a test.

John is an absolutely wonderful trainer. He is patient and takes time to explain everything. I was pretty nervous but he calmed my nerves instantly. Any difficulties I had he kept showing me again & again until I got it. John, you were amazing and I can't thank you enough for your patience and light hearted way you taught me. Just completed my pre-learners with John, his fun and informative style of teaching made the course interesting and not as intimating as I thought it would be. He built up enough confidence in us to allow us to be eager to learn more but also to be aware of the inherent dangers of motorcycling. Highly recommended.

Its no wonder all is reviews are 5 stars John is a legend, top bloke, funny, professional and very informative. My R open licence course today went so well, unlike other qride trainers John doesn't intimidate you or make you feel under any pressure to perform. And he is the most reasonably priced out of all of em. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up

John is an amazing instructor with an ultra relaxed teaching style that puts you at ease and thus allows you to confidently learn from his structured course. He is highly knowledgeable and was more then happy to share his experiences and provide tips in a humorous manner and encourage discussions that you will definitely remember and therefore make it easier to recall the teachings.
John didn't rush any aspect of the course and did multiple demonstrations and gave us plenty of practice to make sure that everyone in the small group of five was able to complete the exercises before moving on to the next more advanced techniques; all with individual feedback so we knew what to do to further improve.
I have never ridden a motorcycle before nor driven a car with a manual transmission and after this two day beginners course, I can say I am confident in riding and controlling a motorcycle.
Highly recommended, John deserves all the praise and recognition for making this two day course fun and memorable!

I can't recommend John at Motodojo enough. I had zero experience on a bike and walked away with my RE after 2 cruisy days under his guidance. (The process isn't quite so quick as of Oct 2016). John conducts the courses in small groups of 5 or so, and makes sure everyone grasps all the fundamentals and aspects of riding a bike. You will never fall behind as he will pull you aside and work with you one on one until you are able to competently perform the tasks. He also teaches you a good attitude towards riding. On top of all of this, he's probably one of the funniest blokes I've met in a long time and will make you feel very at ease. Thanks again John, and I will see you in 2 years for my R's.

John taught me every bit there is to know how to ride safely and well! I had never ridden a bike in my life and in two days made me ride and feel like I had been for years. He builds confidence in his thorough teaching but makes you feel extremely comfortable at the same time! Definitely the most fun learning experience I have ever experienced! highly recommend!

I had the best experience at motodojo with John. I did my pre learner course in December after never riding a motorcycle before and walked away super confident. Also did my RE course last weekend and can't thank John enough for his guidance! Motodojo is a fun learning environment and has heaps of shade!

Motodojo is hands down the best place to do anything motorcycle licence related. I had the experience of doing my R's test with Elliot. He had a practical way of assessing with a great selection of bikes that were not just the typical 650cc's.
